The 2025 GMC Terrain is an exciting contender in the mid-size crossover segment. It uses the same platform as the Chevrolet Equinox. The Terrain is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that delivers 175 horsepower mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is the standard drivetrains, but all-wheel drive is available.
Storage areas are everywhere in the cabin, including an oversized glovebox, an expanded center console with pass-through storage underneath large enough for a laptop computer. The rear seats feature MultiFlex, which allows the seats to move back and forth a total of eight inches for the best rear legroom in the segment.
In 2025 there is only one well loaded Elevation trim featuring 4-wheel disc brakes, a rear spoiler, a liftgate, heated side mirrors, LED headlights, 17-inch aluminum wheels, heated front seats, memory settings for the driver seat, automatic climate control, satellite radio, a 6-speaker sound system, a 15-inch touchscreen, adaptive cruise control, 2 12V DC power outlets, mobile hotspot, wireless device connectivity, 4 USB ports, and a heated steering wheel.
Safety equipment includes, rear parking sensors, an active lane departure system, active blind spot, forward and rear collision mitigation, front pedestrian detection, and front cross traffic mitigation.
The BMW 4-Series is available in two different body styles: coupe and convertible in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. There are two engines available in the 4-Series: 430i models are powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that makes 255 horsepower mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The performance-oriented M4 gets a 3.0L twin-turbo six-cylinder with a 6-speed manual transmission that produces an impressive 473 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. The M4 Competition uses the same engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that's tuned to produce 503 horsepower. M4 models are rear-wheel-drive only.
The M440 is available in RWD and AWD and it's powered by a 3L turbocharged 6-cylinder engine that produces 382 horsepower.
Trim levels are all similarly equipped across the range, notable features on the 4-Series include 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, heated side mirrors with a power folding function, 10-way power adjustable front seats, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity, a automatic climate control, BMW's iDrive system with a 14.9-inch display screen, cruise control and rain-sensing wipers.
The M4 comes with a few more standard items, such as an adaptive sport suspension, navigation, and a 16-speaker surround audio system.
Since the various trims feature similar equipment levels, there are several options and option packages available on the 4-Series.
Available safety equipment includes front and rear parking sensors, a lane departure warning system, blind spot warning, forward and rear collision mitigation, a pedestrian detection system, a driver attention alert and a traffic sign information system.
The 2024 Honda Civic is offered as a sedan or a hatchback with plenty of trim levels and a variety of body styles, there's a Civic for nearly every need. The Si is only available as a sedan. The Civic is powered by one of three engines a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that produces 158-horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque or a 1.5L turbo charged four-cylinder with 180 horsepower mated to a CVT transmission. The third engine is only available in the Si model a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder mated to a 6-speed manual with 200 horsepower.
The Civic sedan is available in four trims LX, Sport, EX, and Touring while the hatchback trims are the LX, Sport, EX-L, and Sport Touring. The Civic Si is only available in one Base trim.
The Honda Civic is well equipped leaving almost nothing out, it includes full LED headlights, auto-high beams, automatic climate control, push-button start, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and CVT transmission.
The Sport trim adds some exterior styling finishes, 18-inch aluminum wheels, remote start, proximity keyless entry, Sport mode drive, leather steering and shift-knob, and 8-speaker system.
The EX/EX-L models has 17-inch alloy wheels, remote start, heated mirrors, sunroof, Dual zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, rear center armrest with cupholders, and LaneWatch blind spot monitor. Exclusive to the EX-L are leather interior, 6-speed manual transmission, and power driver's seat.
Top of the line Touring/Sport Touring Civic increase the list of features with 18-inch machined alloy wheels, rain-sensing wipers, LED fog lights, auto-dimming rearview mirror, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment, integrated navigation, wireless phone charging, 12-speaker Bose sound system, front and rear parking sensor, rear-cross traffic alert, and low speed automatic braking. Leather seats are standard on this trim, and they are heated and power-adjustable for driver and passenger.
The Si is very similar to the Touring adding specific features such as 200 horsepower from the same 1.5L turbo engine, 6-speed manual transmission with rev-matching downshifts, limited slip front differential, bigger brakes, performance all-season tires, and Si sport from seats.
Safety takes a strong presence in the new Civic. Of course, it includes ten airbags, but low tire pressure warning, backup camera and stability control are also standard on every Civic.
The Honda Sensing system is also standard adding a suite of safety features that includes Lane Keep Assist which will monitor and can even nudge the vehicle back into its lane, forward collision mitigation that will detect an impending accident and can even apply the brakes in certain scenarios, automatic high beams, traffic sign reader, and driver attention monitor.
The 2025 Subaru BRZ comes in Premium, Limited, Series.Purple and tS trim levels. The BRZ is powered by a 2.4L flat 4-cylinder engine that produces 228 horsepower mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Both transmissions come with a mechanical limited-slip differential.
The BRZ includes a standard feature set than might be expected in a sports car at this price. An 8-inch touchscreen interface stereo takes center stage. It features Bluetooth, iPod integration, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM and smartphone app integration. Power windows, locks and heated mirrors are also included. The shift knob, steering wheel and parking brake lever are leather-trimmed and dual-zone climate control also come standard.
The BRZ rides low, with an overall height is just 51.6 inches. But as Subaru tells us, there is enough extra headroom inside to accommodate the driver's racing helmet. Rear seatbacks flip forward to open up a trunk pass-through, and while the 6.9-inch-cubic-foot trunk is small, it's shaped well enough for two standard golf bags, a couple of small weekend bags or, as Subaru notes, four race-tire-shod wheels for track day.
Performance is the BRZ's true focus. Built on a rear-wheel-drive platform and designed to ride lean and low, the BRZ weighs only 2,800 pounds and has one of the lowest centers of gravity of any production car. Power is provided by a Subaru 2.0L horizontally opposed "boxer" 4-cylinder engine fitted with direct injection. 228 is plenty of horsepower, but unlike other rear-wheel drive sports cars available, it isn't exactly neck-snapping. But to evaluate the BRZ only by its horsepower numbers is to miss the true design purpose of the BRZ.
The lightweight chassis, the rev-happy boxer engine, the relatively narrow 215/45R17 tires and the limited-slip differential all work together to make the BRZ some of the most fun available at the price. The handling is nimble, the steering quick and the engine note intoxicating. While Subaru clearly intended it to be a tail-happy weekend track racer, it shines in daily driving, with all the modern comfort features and strong fuel economy numbers.
The new tS trim includes painted front and rear calipers, larger brakes, black exterior accents, heated front seats, 8-speakers, navigation, rear parking sensors, blind spot warning, and rear collision warning.
Despite the BRZ's performance focus and attention to weight savings, there's no sign of any compromise in safety. In addition to stability control, all BRZ models include front side airbags, side-curtain bags, and anti-lock brakes with Brake Assist.
The Outback lineup features a pair of flat-four-cylinder engines: a 182-hp 2.5-liter is standard and a 260-hp turbocharged 2.4-liter is optional. Both mate to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) that mimics an eight-speed gearbox to mitigate annoying engine drone. Of course, all Outbacks have standard all-wheel drive, which is a Subaru staple.
The Outback is available in nine different trim levels for 2025: Base, Premium, Onyx Edition, Limited, Touring, Onyx Edition XT, Wilderness, Limited XT and Touring XT.
Perhaps the most impressive collection of standard equipment on the Subaru Outback begins with its Base model offerings: All-wheel drive, hill-descent control, 17-inch alloy wheels, full LED headlights, a roof rack, height-adjustable driver's seat, Tilt/telescopic steering wheel, automatic climate control, 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and EyeSight safety suite.
The next level features can be found in the Premium Trim level that includes LED fog lights, front and rear wiper de-icer system, dual-zone automatic climate control, 10-way-power driver's seat, heated front seats and side mirrors, Starlink infotainment system with 11.6-inch touchscreen.
Having the Premium trim already, the Onyx Edtion XT add-on to this vehicle see's even more available options like black 18-inch alloy wheels, hands-free power tailgate, push button starter, water-repellent upholstery, 8-way-power front-passenger seat, heated rear seats, Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
For those who would love to see updates to an already large and impressive list of options, the Limited Trim level offerings are exactly as requested and include: 18-inch alloy wheels, steering-responsive LED headlights, push button starter, hands-free power tailgate, leather upholstery, 8-way-power front-passenger seat, heated rear seats, 12-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system, Blind-spot monitoring (with rear cross-traffic alert), reverse automatic braking. The Limited XT up-level trim also adds a power sunroof, heated steering wheel, navigation system
Last but not in the very least, the Subaru Outback Touring Trim level brings an additional refinement to this option heavy SUV that includes: Nappa leather upholstery, heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, nav system, and DriverFocus driver-monitoring system. Paired with the XT upgrade too, you also get a turbocharged 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, power-folding exterior mirrors, and 180-degree front-view monitoring system.
The Outback is equipped with a host of standard and available advanced safety features that remain a staple to its reputation of safe and reliable vehicles packed into one brand. These include rearview camera, rear-seat reminder, seat belt warning for rear-seat passengers, forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, lane change assist, and rear cross traffic alert. Reverse automatic emergency braking, Driver distraction monitoring and Front-view camera are all advanced features the consumer can option into their Outback.
The Subaru Legacy is powered by one of two engine choices. The base engine is a 182 horsepower 2.5L 4-cylinder "boxer" engine, with the pistons arranged so that they are parallel to the ground, rather than perpendicular to it like in a traditional inline engine. This means a lower center of gravity and again, better vehicle handling without any compromise in ride quality. The optional engine is also a 4-cylinder "boxer," this one with slightly less displacement at 2.4L. However, it does have a turbocharger and thus makes 260 horsepower. Subaru uses a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) to send power to all-four wheels. Unlike a traditional automatic, the CVT transmission does not have set gears and is instead able to vary gear ratios on the fly, helping to offset the fuel economy penalty that comes with all-wheel drive. The 2025 Legacy is rated at 35 mpg highway and 27 mpg city with the base engine and 32 mpg highway and 23 mpg city with the turbocharged option.
There are five trim levels for the 2025 Subaru Legacy, Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring XT.

The Sport trim comes with 18-inch wheels, LED fog lights, integrated turn signals in the side mirrors, a trunk spoiler and cloth upholstery with contrasting stitching.
